The PnS reward and recognition Pyramid programme culminated in a national awards event at our Head Office in May this year. The programme has been structured to motivate and inspire our staff throughout the year to deliver of their best, and get recognised for delivering impact for clients at the shelf – and beyond in-store.
We’re building a “House of Excellence” so building was the metaphor that carried through all communication and the event itself. Master Builders were identified at every level with regional winners being invited to the national event. Operational roles, service stars and management were recognised. Then ten special “Craftsmen” awards were made to men and women across roles, divisions and geographies that are real brand ambassadors for PnS’s values.
Winners bi-annual performance scorecards were used, which are a combination of achievement against KPI’s as well as behavioural scores against our value set. Portfolios of evidence were used to support this to select our national winners. Regional winners and finalists were flown to Johannesburg and enjoyed a city tour, a visit to Head Office and the evening cocktail function and award ceremony.
